Armstrong Knight are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a dynamic and highly entrepreneurial business which has exciting growth plans both Nationally and internationally.
Duties of the role will include:
Payroll Management
* Processing fortnightly and monthly payroll using Sage payroll
* Filing statutory payroll returns
* Dealing with payroll related matters and statutory compliances
* Processing company stores weekly sales
* Ensuring timely Invoices & Credit notes are raised to all customers
* Calculation of franchise fees
* Issuing Monthly Statements to customers
* Preparation of Aged Debt report
* Updating and maintaining customer records
Cash Book and Nominal Entries
* Posting & Allocation of receipts and payments
* Daily Bank reconciliations of all company Bank accounts
* Posting of revenue Accruals and deferrals
Other Duties to include
* Investigating and resolving queries from Franchisee’s regarding Royalty & Marketing Fees
* Assisting with Payroll Processing
* Assisting Internal Audit & Compliance Team
* Undertake any reasonable task on the request of the Accounts Team
Skills & System knowledge
* Microsoft Office packages (especially Excel)
* Sage Payroll Experience Essential
* Knowledge of Foreign Currency conversions & Postings
* AAT studier with ambition to continue studies, minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Team player & ability to communicate with all levels
