The ER Advisor purpose is to provide first line advice, supporting GK managers, team members and other stakeholders regarding ER policies and process resolving issues or questions in the first instance wherever possible. Empowering our teams to do the right thing.

Your role as People Advisor ERA (12 month FTC)
1. The Key relationships will primarily be within the HR function but will also include a wider stakeholder population within our corporate and retail operations.
2. Establish and set up a case by capturing vital details on the Case Management System (CMS).
3. Managing and handling incoming and outbound calls and emails from our stakeholders, ensuring clear concise communication to the caller.
4. Networking – proactively build relationships around the business to stay informed and understand business needs.
5. Supporting operational teams with letters (checking of and distribution), and other day-to-day administration within the ER department.
6. Supporting with TUPE administration.
7. Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions and collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
8. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
9. Provide support and guidance to employees on policies, procedures, and programs.
10. Develop and deliver metrics and reporting to measure and monitor the effectiveness of the team and identify opportunities for improvement.
11. Act as point of escalation for complex queries.
12. Working with the communications team to ensure all internal communications and platforms (i.e. the Vault) are correct and user friendly.
13. Ensure compliance & best practice is applied in all ER administration.
What you’ll bring…
1. Knowledge of HR people practices and processes, including but not limited to payroll and HR compliance.
2. Knowledge of HR software, Workday HCM would be advantageous.
3. Knowledge of GDPR processes.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
5. Data Management, with strong Excel skills.
6. Experience of delivering and managing operational teams across corporate functions.
7. Good at prioritisation, managing own workload and taking accountability and responsibility for completion.
