Team/Role Overview
The Global Liquidity Management Solutions Team is made up of a team of lawyers supporting the Global Liquidity Management Solutions and Global Cash Services businesses based across the world. The team in particular is based in Belfast, Dublin, New York and India.
What you'll do
* Providing legal support to the business, including the following product areas: Deposits and Investments, Cash Concentration, Cash Pooling and Money Market Funds.
* Advising the Liquidity Management Solutions business in relation to new products and country expansions, including drafting of new Product Agreements and Citi policy matters.
* Instructing external lawyers and acting as liaison between external advisers and the business.
* Negotiation of product documentation in relation to non-standard transactions/negotiations for the above product areas.
* Co-ordinating multi-jurisdictional transactions.
* Review of information provided by foreign legal counsel in relation to new products and the expansion of the business.
* Advising on legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Global Liquidity Management Solutions business.
What we'll need from you
* Minimum 2.1 classification law degree required.
* Experience gained in private practice or in an in-house legal department.
* Experience of negotiating commercial/banking/finance related contracts is helpful.
* Experience in general corporate banking and/or corporate legal work involving advisory work and transactions.
