A day in the life of: You will use your proactive sales skills to:
* Work closely with meeting, events, and food and beverage teams to generate new business and build long-term relationships
* Input into the hotel's commercial plan, working with our industry leading brand sales initiatives and tools
* Research potential new accounts and build strong relationships with local businesses and the community to drive profitability
* Be the face of the hotel, engaging with large groups and leading show-arounds
* Ensure maximum benefit from brand managed accounts, marketing programmes, and initiatives
What do we need from you? You will have:
* Proven sales management experience in a team environment, with a strong commercial outlook and negotiation skills
* Excellent presentation, influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Self-motivated, driven, and ready to build on your existing knowledge of the local and wider UK market to create long and lasting business relationships
* Willingness to travel, report writing skills, ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and open to new ideas
* Proficiency in PMS, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office tools, with excellent written and verbal English
