We are now recruiting Christmas Customer Advisors for our Clacton On Sea, 54-62 Pier Avenue store.
We are looking for candidates to start with us from November onwards. We have a variety of shifts available, working between the hours of 09:00am and 18:00 which may include weekends.
The exact shift patterns will be discussed at interview.
Christmas Customer Advisor
Joining us as a Christmas Customer Advisor is a great opportunity, whether it’s your first job and you’re looking to gain some valuable experience, or you have experience with retail and you’re looking for a new challenge.
Whilst this is a temporary contract, there could be the potential for a permanent role later depending on the opportunities in your local area, so it could be the start of a new career with us.
About the role
Christmas in Boots is our most exciting time of the year, and it can be very busy, so we’ll provide you with all the training and support you need to help you be at your best.
You will work in a Boots store and report into the Assistant or Store Manager. Your role could involve:
1. Helping our customers: answering questions and giving great advice on our fantastic gifts, showing where a product is, or simply offering a basket.
2. Ensuring our stores run smoothly: ensuring we have the right products displayed on the shop floor, providing great service on our tills, or helping with stock in the stock rooms.
3. Working with other team members to ensure that the store is always presentable.
4. Collaborating to solve any issues quickly and support the store’s daily operational activities.
What you’ll need to have
Full training is provided, but these are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role:
* Excel in a varied environment, working at pace.
* Communicate and listen effectively.
* Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
* Understand that the little things make the biggest difference for customer interactions.
* Be a proud brand ambassador for Boots and help our customers find the best products for them.
