Supports the Aseptic Services Manager in setting the strategic direction for the unit. Acts as an Authorised Pharmacist for the professional check and release of products prepared in the unit. Assists in the maintenance, development and evaluation of the Aseptic Quality Assurance System. Support the Lead for Clinical Pharmacy Services in setting the strategic direction for the department Contribute to the development of the annual business plan and strategic planning for the Pharmacy Directorate Implement Trust policies in relation to the Clinical Pharmacy Service Continually review the quality and standard of service provision through consultation with users of the Clinical Pharmacy Service and makes recommendations for improvement to the Deputy Clinical Director Pharmacy Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies, procedures and records for the Clinical Pharmacy Service and medicines management Assists Directorates and specialties in controlling drug expenditure Ensure the appropriate stock control and storage of materials and safe maintenance of equipment used in the provision of the Clinical Pharmacy services Participates in weekend. public holiday and out of hours provision of pharmacy services Complies with Trust policies relating to security and patient confidentiality and to ensure that procedures are undertaken within safe systems of work and legislation
