We are looking for Logistics Operators to join our dedicated logistics department at our Nestlé Waters site in Buxton, Derbyshire.

A day in the life of a Logistics Operator
Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Ensure high safety standards are adhered to maintain a safe working environment.
2. Responsible for following inbound and outbound schedule by pallet retrieving, marshalling, and loading pallets as per defined SOPs.
3. Load or unload trailers by driving suitable MHEs through loading docks or loading bays.
4. Support with factory activities to achieve KPIs such as delivering packaging materials to the production line in a timely manner.
5. Approach work with a continuous improvement mindset.
6. Ensure high quality & GMP standards are met by effectively carrying out the daily cleaning plan as per defined SOPs.
7. The role will also require adaptability and flexibility as you may be required to work in different areas of the department and plant.
What will make you successful
1. No prior experience required! We welcome individuals with a passion for logistics and a willingness to learn and develop in an automated warehouse.
2. A relevant qualification in logistics, supply chain, or a similar subject is desirable but not essential.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
4. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
5. Experience working towards safety standards.
6. Ability to work toward performance targets.
7. Preferable - Ability to operate all required MHE including Forklift Truck (e.g. Reach Truck, Counterbalance, T20) – if no license held, in-house training will be provided.
