What the day will look like
1. Responsibility for improving the colleague experience at Aon, by developing talent at all levels to maximise our potential.
2. Owning and driving development activities across locations to ensure clear and consistent development plans for all colleagues.
3. Developing and maintaining our new joiner induction program, keeping it updated with industry changes to ensure relevant training.
4. Analyzing performance and quality data to drive training and performance priorities, such as E&O trends.
5. Designing and delivering colleague training & development on industry changes and projects, e.g., GMP, Pensions Dashboards.
6. Developing case studies and training materials to assist with risk mitigation and continuous development.
7. Providing mentor support to managers and junior colleagues, acting as a buddy to ensure clear objectives and understanding of training.
8. Supporting performance feedback conversations and gathering 360 feedback on colleague performance.
9. Supporting goal setting and end-of-year performance reviews to ensure consistent feedback aligned with performance ratings.
10. Collaborating with Team Managers to complete skills matrices and develop plans to expand knowledge.
11. Ensuring clear succession planning in line with colleague skills.
12. Providing regular feedback and reports to local management on key concerns and training needs.
13. Assisting management to improve processing times and productivity by identifying non-standard processes and training requirements.
14. Supporting recruitment efforts to attract top external talent.
15. Facilitating work transitions between locations and capturing processes and best practices clearly.
16. Supporting colleagues in attaining professional qualifications.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
* Experience in pensions is preferred but not essential.
* A background in coaching, mentoring, and colleague development is highly beneficial.
* Proven problem-solving skills with a focus on solutions and delivery.
* Highly organized with keen attention to record keeping.
* Experience implementing change solutions with measurable results.
* Experience in performance management using data analytics.
