Job Description
My client is looking for a Construction Project Manager with greenfield experience building a state-of-the-art facility to supply automotive parts in the automotive sector.
The Role
As the Factory Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our new facility. Your responsibilities will include managing contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving the project to meet time and budget targets. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a high-profile construction project and leave a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee all phases of factory construction, from planning to handover.
2. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
3. Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
5. Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues promptly.
6. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure alignment with design specifications.
7. Provide progress updates and reports to senior management.
8. Mitigate risks and implement contingency plans as needed.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience as a Construction Manager, ideally in industrial or factory projects.
2. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety protocols.
3. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
4. Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
5. Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
7. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, NEBOSH, SMSTS) are advantageous.
