This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Project Coordinator to join an experienced Workforce Development Education and Training Team. The priority of the team is to lead and deliver on the CNMO objectives to uphold professional standards and compliance across our nursing, midwifery and AHP workforce.
The role includes supporting the Project Coordinator to achieve the designated objectives in a timely manner.
You will be required to work closely with the Project Coordinator, Practice Development Nurses/Leads, Clinical Skills and Learning Facilitators with the continuous development of our improvement and quality standards. You will also support the team with delivery and achievement of NHS England’s and Chief Nursing Officer for England’s objectives:
· Supporting in delivering the highest quality and standard of care.
· To use all relevant Trust software packages and systems to support the objectives of Trust corporate agenda.
· The Workforce Development Education and Training team is fast paced and all members are required to be multi-skilled, proactive and enthusiastic.

· The Workforce Development Education and Training team is fast paced and all members are required to be multi-skilled, proactive and enthusiastic. The role of an Assistant Project Coordinator consists of the below key duties:
o Support the WDET Healthroster allocations and maintain up to date templates
o Act as an expert and positive role model for all staff.
o Promote excellent customer care sharing knowledge/experiences with others and assist in training to promote a better-quality service.
o To manage own workload on a daily basis to ensure all telephone calls, emails and appointments are dealt with in an appropriate and timely manner.
o Participate in the development and delivery of appropriate record keeping and spreadsheets for all staff to promote professional development.
o Confidence in taking telephone calls with intention to resolve issues and escalating appropriately.
o To undertake work associated with the Trusts Chief Nursing Midwifery Officer .
o Ensure accuracy in giving and receiving messages.
o To be able to use relevant systems and Microsoft Office programmes to a high standard, specifically with the use of Excel.
o Understanding of NHS England CPD funding allocations and Trust processes and liaising with Academic Education Institutes to ensure seamless communication.
o To ensure WDET team information is kept up to date and accessible.
o Ensuring Clinical Governance standards are met by maintaining DATIX and Health and Safety in the department.
o Provide positive motivation, training and support to new and junior staff in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
o Show empathy to individuals requiring more training/time to fully understand processes.
o Miscellaneous tasks relevant to the post as directed by Associate Director of Workforce Development Education and Training team.
