Role

As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be at the heart of operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Performing planned preventative and reactive maintenance efficiently and safely.
2. Proactively addressing maintenance issues, reporting faults and defects promptly.
3. Ensuring all mechanical and maintenance equipment meets current standards and legislation.
4. Fault-finding and resolving breakdowns and performance issues quickly to meet operational targets.
5. Proposing tactical solutions to keep activities on schedule.
What You'll Bring:
6. Experience in maintaining heavy plant and machinery in a heavy industrial environment.
7. Strong understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
8. Excellent fault-finding skills and a commitment to safe working practices.
9. Qualifications to ONC/OND level in Mechanical Engineering and a working AP(LV).
10. A full UK driving licence.
11. A dedication to maintaining Health and Safety standards.
