We are seeking an exceptional Director of Business Development to join our dynamic team. In this key leadership role, you will play a pivotal part in driving our organisation's success by identifying new opportunities, optimising sales channels, and shaping the future of our business through strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Generate Growth: Drive new business in target markets, with a focus on value-added logistics, warehousing, retail distribution, and end-to-end supply chain solutions.
2. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
3. Opportunity Identification: Research and pursue new business opportunities in emerging and established markets.
4. Collaborative Innovation: Partner with Business Development, Marketing, Solution Design, and Logistics Engineering teams to craft competitive proposals and innovative service offerings.
5. Data-Driven Insight: Maintain a structured analysis of target markets and clients using CRM systems. Manage global account plans and coordinate international sales efforts for large accounts.
6. Market Intelligence: Provide insights into market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities, sharing feedback with global and regional teams.
7. Technology Adoption: Identify and evaluate new technologies and present feasibility plans for implementation.
8. Alignment with Strategy: Ensure the company's business objectives align with its short- and long-term strategic goals.
