The Purpose:
The People Systems & MI Lead will report to the Head of People Services and will lead the development and enhancement of People Insights, Systems, and Processes, focusing on driving automation, innovation, and improving the stakeholder experience.
The Role:
* Own all People reporting & insights, including headcount, KPIs, pay/bonus/benefits, diversity, data audits and organisational structures to meet business and regulatory requirements.
* Further develop reporting and insights to inform decision making across functions.
* Develop self-service reports and specialist data analysis to support the People & Sustainability team.
* Manage annual/ad hoc data processes (e.g., pay reviews, benchmarking) with robust audits and reconciliations.
* Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and process enhancements.
* Deliver clear, solution-focused insights and recommendations to improve automation and efficiencies.
* Conduct regular data quality audits and ensure GDPR compliance.
* Maintain People systems, act as the primary day to day contact for vendor relationships and manage system upgrades.
* Identify and implement digitisation opportunities to streamline processes and optimise technology to enhance colleague/candidate experience and efficiencies.
* Ensure SLA performance for systems and resolve escalated issues.
* Partner with HRIS providers to align development roadmaps with business needs.
* Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders to align systems and processes.
The Person:
* Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel skills, strong HRIS knowledge, confident using Power BI, capable of managing large datasets. Knowledge of, or eagerness to learn coding to enable increased automation.
* Analytical Skills: Proactive in providing data-driven insights, identifying trends, and solving problems to inform decisions and improvements.
* Attention to Detail: Highly organised with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
* Communication & Collaboration: Confidently presents data in clear formats and effectively engages with internal and external stakeholders.
* Adaptability: Thrives under pressure and adjusts to changing priorities.
* Curiosity to learn: Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying improvements and staying updated on industry trends in People data and technology.
