Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Project Accountant located in Kendal / Blackburn, UK. The Senior Project Accountant will be working closely with Operations, Project Managers and the Cost Accountant to ensure effective financial control across the Anord Mardix projects: focusing on revenue, cashflow, profitability, reporting & analysis. What a typical day looks like :
1. The calculation and analysis of project revenue, as well as maintaining the integrity of data that supports the accounts. Maintaining full audit trails for both internal and external audit purposes:
2. Production of monthly reports on overall project financial performance and gross margin for management reviews.
3. Managing the project team, including accounts receivable and credit control. Ensuring customer invoices are raised in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the contract terms and conditions and management information requirements.
4. Work closely with Senior Finance team on forecasting
5. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and support future system developments. Focus being on robust reporting systems for financial performance and contract compliance.
6. Building financial awareness of non-finance staff across the business
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
7. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience and training.
8. Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
9. Finance related professional certification courses is preferred (CPA, CMA, CWA, CA, CGA, CFP, APICS). Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or a Certified General Accountant (CGA).
