Our client is a rapidly growing Independent Broker who has grown impressively from a standing start since they launched in 2019. They now seek a proactive, driven, and energetic commercial insurance specialist to join them as a Commercial Account Executive. You will be joining a broker who currently has 28 staff and has further exciting growth plans, looking to continue to expand over the next couple of years. They seek people who want to be part of this exciting journey with them.
Those who are highly skilled Commercial Account/Business Development Executives with the ability to win new business, build a book of commercial business, and retain those clients at renewal are highly sought after. An existing book of business will be provided to you to get started, currently standing at £100k income, made up of mid-market clients across a range of sectors. They have a huge amount of high-quality leads to provide to you, enabling you to grow your book quickly.
You will be required to manage this book, identify new business opportunities, cultivate new business relationships, and grow your own book of business moving forward. There is no expectation that you bring a book of business with you, though this would of course be a bonus!
They would be keen to speak to you if you have at least 4 years of commercial insurance broking sales-based experience and a solid working knowledge of general commercial insurance across a range of classes of business, dealing with a variety of commercial clients.

The basic salary on offer is £45-80k depending on skills and experience, plus car allowance and excellent bonuses. Other benefits include Death in service (x4 of salary), pension, and 21 days holidays (plus bank holidays), though this may be negotiable for the right person. Free on-site parking is also provided.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, though this broker has an ethos of getting the job done.
