The role of the PPP is to help deliver a 20-year pipeline of major infrastructure projects as quickly and safely as possible, creating new facilities that allow Sellafield to treat, manage, and store waste safely for decades to come.

At Amentum, we have roles for Mechanical Engineers who have some experience in the following:
* Developing and implementing engineering solutions for complex engineering projects, from concept design proposals through to design for manufacture, the full project life cycle.
* Identifying design, statutory, and regulatory requirements, and contributing to risk assessments.
* Producing technical reports, technical specifications, and scoping calculations.
* Reviewing technical deliverables, including reports and drawings.
* Presenting engineering solutions to stakeholders and as part of design reviews.
* Delivering your scope of work to time and budget.
* Planning and coordinating engineering and design activities.
If you are, we would love to hear from you.
Ideally, you will already have:
* Degree Qualified/HNC/Incorporated/Chartered Engineer or be working towards gaining professional status.
* Experience in the use of AutoCAD Inventor.
* Experience in production and checking of Design Justification Reports (DJRs).
* Experience in crane/lifting equipment design.
* Familiarity with CE Marking, CDM, PUWER, LOLER, PED, Machinery's Directive.
* Knowledge of relevant drawing standards BS8888, BS5070, and BS EN 61082.
