The Senior HR Manager role The Senior HR Manager will support the Chief People Officer in ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives. This role demands a seasoned HR professional adept at managing complex projects, case management, employee relations, talent management, implementing HR initiatives, and fostering collaboration across departments. Working closely with the Chief People Officer and the People & Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will be instrumental in driving HR transformation and continuous improvement within the organization. As well as collaborating with your team, you will be working closely with multiple stakeholders across the Finance, Production and Operations teams. Key responsibilities for the Senior HR Manager Working across a range of HR Generalist areas including performance management, recruitment, employee relations/engagement, learning and development, compensation and employee benefits. Be able to facilitate and add value to the teams, departments and processes in order to keep employee satisfaction high. Ensure timely and accurate administrative and transactional support is delivered with the assistance of our HR Administrator in a range of activities, including; employee lifecycle and annual HR calendar events (e.g. PDR, reward reviews, KPI setting and follow ups). Support employment policy, for example, Time Off in Lieu or Employee Benefits Plan implementation and management. Lead a culture of continuous improvement initiatives to deliver an effective, cost efficient service to the business while demonstrating an innovative approach to employee engagement. Coach managers on employee relations issues and training, supporting their visible management of the employee group. Support and coordinate the Talent Acquisition Specialists with the recruitment process, liaising with colleagues on their hiring plans and maintaining good relationships with recruitment partners. Review and maintain job descriptions and skills matrices for all functions. Support the management of employee relations issues, such as restructures and redundancies. Essential requirements for the Senior HR Manager Proven HR generalist experience across small and medium sized organisation/s. Experience facilitating growing teams and departments. Experience in developing and supporting line managers through growth and change. Have experience or exposure to multiple areas of HR including performance management, recruitment, employee relations/engagement, learning and development, compensation and employee benefits. Have a creative and solution oriented mindset. Strong stakeholder management. Desirable requirements for the Senior HR Manager CIPD (minimum Associate Member Level) or equivalent relevant professional qualification. Some knowledge of the VFX, Film & TV industry would be advantageous, and if not experience, a passion for the creative industry and learning. Experience with multi-site and international projects. Experience of interaction across complex corporate partnerships. Ability to travel between studios when required. Previous experience with maternity cover / short term contracts. Experience with tools and systems like BambooHR, Google Suite, Docusign and Monday.com.
