We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our Primary Care team at HMP Doncaster, a category B Remand Prison located in the centre of Doncaster. The prison houses around 1150 male patients aged 18 years and up; ideal applicants for this role will have experience supporting patients with substance misuse needs.

This position is part-time; you'll receive an annual salary up to £124,622 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

* Deliver first-class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, providing opportunities to develop your knowledge in areas you wouldn't usually experience within a practice or A&E environment.
* Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to meet patients' requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management.
* Act as a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team and engage in clinical governance and effectiveness activities.

Qualifications Required
* MBChB or MBBS
* Inclusion on the GMC Register and GP Performers List
* Evidence of engagement with annual appraisal
* Experience working as a General Practitioner in community general practice
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Ability to work with patients with a history of substance misuse
* RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse 1 and 2, or willingness to undertake these qualifications
