We recentlylaunched a tender procurement and received significant interest from Microsoftpartners. We are now progressing through the supplier selection process andexpect to award the tender to a supplier by the end of calendar 2024, withdelivery to start early in the new year.
Main duties of the job
We are seekingan IT Project Manager to work closely with HFEA staff and the awarded supplierto ensure the transformation project delivery is a success. Ideally you would have previous experience inmanaging IT projects when an outsourced supplier was responsible for delivery. Thisrole will need strong leadership and interpersonal skills to engage with alarge group of stakeholders effectively.
Interviews are likely to take place w/c 6/13 January 2025.

Responsibilities
Setup the project governance framework so that HFEA can monitorprogress, manage risks and resources.
Be the client-side Project Manager the keyinterface between the suppliers teams and HFEA.
Monitor the suppliers performance, output and deliverables to ensurethe programme is on track and delivering the expected outcomes.
Schedule workshops as needed so that internal staff resources areavailable for the project.
Identify and communicate risks, concerns, issues, dependencies, blockersand initiate the appropriate escalations or mitigating actions.
Ensure project administration is well developed and submitted regularly tothe Project Assurance Group and board.
Write quarterly papers for the HFEAs Audit & Governance Committeedetailing the projects progress and key information they may need to beinformed of.
Engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring their needs andexpectations are understood and managed.
Monitor the HFEAs programme budget and forecast costs where possible.
In collaboration with the HFEAsin-house test analyst, develop a testing programme to ensure the identifiedrequirements have been met with the appropriate quality assurance.
Ensure good project communicationsso the organisation is kept up to date with the projects progress andmilestones e.g. drop-in sessions and intranet updates.
Person Specification
Experience
* Delivering a project or programme in a complex environment
* Working with outsourced suppliers in a large project delivery
* Proven track record in IT project-based role
* Excellent IT skills robust knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office programs, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
* Experience of MS Dynamics or SharePoint implementation migration
* Experience of working in a regulated environment
* Background in change management and business transformation
* Experience of using MS Project
* Experience of using an Electronic Document Records Management System
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience
* Formal project management qualification (i.e. PRINCE2 or Agile certification or Managing Successful Projects)
* Formal Change Management or business transformation qualification
* Excellent, proven knowledge of corporate project management approaches e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, etc
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with a range of people effectively, including at a senior level
