The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Governance Manager to join our Procurement team at Marshall Motor Group. This is a newly created position to support the team with an exciting Procurement system transformation.
You will be responsible for Group wide utilisation of Coupa, supporting the business in adherence to Procurement policy and the end to end supplier onboarding / enablement process. You will also take ownership of supplier performance reporting and driving ongoing value from third party supplier relationships by working cross-functionally and with Procurement Category Managers, internal stakeholders and suppliers.
This is a crucial role responsible for providing Procurement control and governance expertise across the Group. If you are passionate about driving efficiency, ensuring compliance, and managing supplier performance, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What you’ll do
* Line management of one member of staff, taking accountability for conducting due diligence on potential new suppliers including ongoing financial and reputational due diligence whilst streamlining the process
* Monitor compliance against Procurement policies whilst ensuring key processes are documented and embedded
* Review, analyse and improve where necessary utilisation of Source to Pay processes ensuring excellent levels of Purchase Order compliance and touchless electronic invoices from suppliers
* Work with the wider Procurement team to enhance user experience of Coupa platform ensuring rich user content (e.g forms, items, guides)
* Support wider Procurement team in creating and managing a third party supplier performance and relationship management framework identifying areas for improvement against contractual frameworks
* Lead workstreams on site acquisitions and disposals ensuring Group contracts and suppliers are effectively implemented
* Manage key supplier portals ensuring relevant access is maintained.
Who you are
* Experience with Coupa or other Source to Pay systems is highly desirable
* Demonstrable experience across the end to end procurement process.
* Analytical mindset with proven Excel skills and ideally exposure to PowerBI
* Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
* Ability to provide clear, data-driven recommendations and solutions to senior leadership
* A self-starter who can take initiative and deliver results independently
* A strong communicator who can influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
