My client, a multi-disciplinary Town Planning Consultancy specializing in a wide range of sectors including Leisure, Commercial, Residential, Renewables, Education, Land Promotion, and Mixed-Use, is looking for a talented Graduate Urban Designer to join their team. What to Expect as a Graduate Urban Designer:
In this role, you will work alongside senior colleagues on a variety of multi-disciplinary projects, such as urban extensions, regeneration schemes, and masterplanning. You'll engage with developers, local communities, consultants, and authorities, contributing to the preparation of planning documents and helping deliver high-quality design reports.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in preparing planning documents, design statements, feasibility studies, and technical drawings.
2. Ensure all work aligns with relevant policies, guidelines, and best practices.
3. Attend site visits and client meetings, offering input where needed.
4. Communicate effectively with clients, the design team, and stakeholders.
5. Contribute to the practice's marketing and social media activities.

Essential Skills for a Graduate Urban Designer:
1. Proficiency in 3D modelling, hand sketching, rendering, and technical drawings.
2. Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
3. Solid knowledge of CAD software.
4. A degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Planning, or a related field.
5. Full UK driving license and access to a car.
