Job Description To monitor and inspect areas of the community in respect of the general aesthetics of housing estates, vandalism, environmental improvements, abandoned vehicles, communal repairs and all other general Housing Estate Management issues. Requirements Inspection and supervision of designated areas. Dealing with tenants’ complaints. Estate management and cleaning. Preparation of reports and attendance at meetings. Other duties as required. The Individual Previous experience in a caretaking role or in a housing management environment. 2 SQA standard grades or equivalent at Level 3 or above. Ability to work with a minimum of supervision, prioritise tasks and co-operate with colleagues. Ability to accurately record information. Experience in using Microsoft Office packages inc Word, Excel, Access. Good organisation/time management skills. You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Moray to meet the operational requirements of the Service. Due to the rural nature of Moray this is normally undertaken by use of a car. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Able to demonstrate a high level of customer care. Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the practice of good team working. Ability to liaise with other agencies and departments. Willingness to accept direction/delegation. Ability to bend and stretch in order to carry out cleaning tasks. Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs/demands of the service. Ability to work in all weather conditions.
