The Amazon Private Brands Sustainability team is looking foran experienced and dynamic product manager to drive efforts toreduce environmental and social impacts of our products and supplychains.

Weprovide functional teams support to deliver against publicsustainability goals, regulatory standards, and more. We focus onproviding expertise, education, program management mechanisms,tools, and data to drive functional teams to scalably own in theirareas of responsibility.
As the Senior ProductManager, Sustainability Regulatory Readiness, you will beresponsible for scanning global, multi-year sustainabilityregulations, providing input to responsible sourcing andenvironmental teams to inform strategy, assessing businessreadiness, and working with compliance counterparts to ensureexecution plans appropriately address the regulations. This roleworks closely with both central Amazon teams as well as AmazonPrivate Brands internal teams, including Legal, Compliance, PublicPolicy, Finance, product family business teams, product &technology, and more; globally. This role requires a high degree ofbackbone and ability to work collaboratively across teams to solvechallenging problems in an ambiguous and evolvingenvironment.
Key jobresponsibilities
• Develop sustainability regulationreadiness programs in line with regulatory and businesssustainability objectives
• Create and maintainrelationships with internal teams and external service providers tosupport sustainability initiatives
• Engage with PublicPolicy and Legal teams to monitor, influence and interpret upcomingregulatory requirements
• Monitor and analyze developingsustainability regulatory trends and use insights to influenceforward looking strategy
• Provide direction to internalproduct and technology teams to influence systems, product designsand services
• Coordinate supplier communication strategytogether with Sourcing and Compliance teams
• Developprocesses to integrate compliance and sustainability objectivesinto new product development
• Participate in othersustainability initiatives and programs asneeded
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experienceowning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
-Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of aproduct
- Experience with product cycles of 6+months
- Experience in product or program management,product marketing, business development ortechnology
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Experience working across functional teams and seniorstakeholders
- Experience in influencing seniorleadership through data driven insights
- Experience inthe sustainability field and/or government regulationcompliance
