We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Firstvets.
Location: Heaton branch but will also cover Billy Mill and Forest Hall branches when needed so the ability to travel is essential
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 26.12 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday comprising of early and late shifts

About the role:
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
2. Answering phones and booking appointments
3. Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
4. Registering new clients
5. Completing insurance forms
6. Dispensing medications
7. Taking payments
8. And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:
We are looking for someone with the confidence, empathy and experience to provide the high standards of care and the personal touch we expect for our clients.
9. Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
10. A genuine care of animals
11. Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
12. An excellent communicator with strong empathy
13. Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
14. A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
16. Strong organisational and administrative skills
