IKEA Brighton are looking to welcome Store Assistants to create our new store team!
Join our team at the vibrant new Brighton store as a store assistant, where you'll play a key role in creating an outstanding shopping experience for our guests. In this role, no two days are the same! This role is all about selling, ensuring our guests leave feeling satisfied with their purchase and inspired by IKEA. WHAT WE OFFER
The Start Date of employment will be: Week beginning 16th June 2025.
Competitive hourly rate of £13.25 per hour.
We have many contract options available ranging from 16 to 39 hours per week, with shift patterns being during the day, evenings and weekends.

* You are computer literate and able to work with technology.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
* You provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers working across various departments throughout the day, supporting store guests to find the best solutions for their life at home.
* You are always passionate about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
* You support maximising sales by ensuring your areas of responsibility are clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.
* You will use the IKEA vision of a better everyday life at home and prioritise the guests by actively engaging with guests and promoting products to align with their needs.

The training plan for each co-worker will include a period of training prior to the store opening where travel to another IKEA Store will be organised and fully covered by IKEA. This ensures that any travel will not create any personal expenses and we will create as much flexibility as possible to suit individual needs.
