QA/QC Project Manager | Slough- Data Centre Project
Our client is seeking an experienced and talented QA/QC Project Manager to oversee a Data Centre Project based in Slough.
Key Requirements
1. 3rd Level Qualification in Structural/Civil Engineering or a strong trades background.
2. 5-10+ years in complex infrastructure projects.
3. Experience promoting LEAN construction practices, best practices, and lessons learned.
4. Hyperscale data centre experience beneficial.
5. Background in QA issue investigation and non-conformance resolution.
6. Strong interpersonal skills to manage quality deliverables across the supply chain.
7. Ability to promote a strong onsite safety culture through proactive engagement, safety training, and open communication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Report to the Senior Contracts Manager.
2. Lead and coordinate Quality Management (QMS) to ensure continuous improvement.
3. Manage subcontractors and promote clients Quality Management systems.
4. Develop and maintain audit-readiness for compliance.
5. Oversee project quality requirements with the engineering team.
6. Track installation quality and weekly inspection test plan requirements.
7. Generate quality management reports, track documentation, and manage quality KPIs.
8. Coordinate project meetings with subcontractors, clients, and suppliers.
9. Ensure contractors' QA/QC system compliance with the quality manual.
10. Conduct engineering reviews, process validations, and coordination of QA/QC personnel.
11. Review subcontractor qualifications, test results, materials, and methods.
12. Support company-wide process knowledge development and lead a quality-focused project delivery team.
