The Role We are looking for an Academy Head Coach for our U15 age group to cover the full coaching remit and lead on an effective coaching programme for youth players in a designated age category. In this exciting role, you'll deliver and develop performance pathways and plans and create an optimum environment for our youth players to develop and grow. Your day-to-day Develop and coordinate training sessions - you'll passionately lead players through individual and team training sessions, catering for the needs of our players both individually and collectively in order to maximise the potential of all our players in this age group Collaborate with our Coaching team - you will eagerly assist other coaches in the relevant youth development phase to prepare and debrief matches Lead sessions and games - you'll effectively lead sessions and games with the relevant youth development phase squads as and when required Ensure our club is fully compliant - you will diligently work with our Head of Academy Coaching to comply with Premier League, FA and EPPP rules and requirements - ensuring that PMA is kept up to date Deliver impactful review meetings - you'll be entrusted to ensure the delivery of accurate, effectively documented individual player review meetings Partner with with colleagues across our club - you will take pride in teaming-up with our Physical, Analysis, Psychology and Operations teams Implement appropriate sessions - you'll hold responsibility for making sure sessions are delivered in a way that caters for all players on the programme and demonstrate a progressive and transparent structure for all players to progress Provide insightful reporting - you will provide a reporting platform to give constructive feedback at the end of each term for players and you'll work with the relevant phase coaching team to implement it Evolve and enhance our coaching programme - you'll actively seek out ways to improve the coaching programme and assist with the implementation of innovative new ideas and you'll work with our Head of Academy Coaching to implement a programme of continuous professional development for the Academy team What we are looking for B ackground in football within an Elite Academy setting - you come with experience of coaching high level players and/or talented young football players and you have proven EPPP knowledge and experience of using the PMA Track record of developing young players - you're proud of your history of coaching players at youth level that have progressed to play professional football in the Premier League or Football League Credible expertise - you have a UEFA B Licence and an FA Level 4/UEFA A coaching award or equivalent as well as an FA Youth Module 3 Coaching Award or equivalent Certifications in critical areas - you hold an up to date FA Safeguarding Certificate and a First Aid Certificate Proactive and knowledgeable team player - you efficiently work as part of a coaching team and you're able to communicate key technical messages in coaching sessions Best-in-class relationship builder - you're able to establish and uphold exceptional rapport with young players and are confident in working with senior colleagues to set realistic goals for the players and the team Dedicated and organised mindset - you are highly motivated and driven with a commitment and passion for our game and you're proud of your excellent organisational and time management skills Proud ambassador for our club - you act as a role model all times, embodying our Academy's values of discipline, humility and respect and our wider club values Why choose us At Arsenal, we want everyone to feel a sense of trust and belonging, so we are proud of both our club values and also what we offer to our employees.
