Job summary An amazing opportunity has arisen to recruit a Clinical Lead Nurse on our Neonatal Unit, on a 12 month secondment. Applicants must have excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a nursing team and work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary team. Main duties of the job The post holder will effectively lead and co-ordinate the neonatal unit and take an active role in the management and care of babies and their families within the Neonatal Unit. As a role model to junior staff and the wider team, you will be expected to actively participate in education and training, whilst providing pastoral support and mentorship to the team. You will demonstrate excellent clinical and managerial skills, be passionate about high quality care and have a good understanding of the Neonatal Networks. The neonatal unit comprises of 3 intensive care, 2 high dependency, 13 special care and 4 transitional care cots.
