Overview
Aqualogic have opportunities available for candidates to join our thriving field services team delivering key Water Demand related services to our Utility Customers, as well as a range of private and public-sector customers in across the United Kingdom.
The successful candidates will be required to undertake data collection and technical report writing – analysing data, identifying trends and creating reports to provide valuable information for clients and management. The candidate must have keen attention to detail and the ability to work accurately whilst ensuring KPIs are met. A strong communicator and team player who is diligent and happy to work under their own initiative as well as collaboratively within the wider team.
Experience and knowledge of water distribution networks is essential for this role.
As a Water Demand Analyst your main duties will be:
1. Analysing flow and pressure data to identify areas of leakage or opportunities for pressure management.
2. Setting up and analysing balances for Trunk Main and DMA systems to aid targeting.
3. Data cleansing, checking and processing.
4. POI analysis to promote likely leaks.
5. Identifying areas for Trunk Main and DMA improvement such as Waste Meters or NHH logging.
6. Creating network schematics and tile balances.
7. Producing technical reports/summaries with varying levels of detail.
8. Liaising with sub-contractors and clients.
9. Responsibility for the successful delivery of small projects and packages of work.
10. Communicating with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements.
Skills and Experience highly beneficial for this role are:
1. Ability to work to tight deadlines and budget in a busy environment.
2. Experience across a range of disciplines including pressure management, leakage and data analytics.
3. Experience in the use of multiple technology providers such as HWM, Technolog & i2O.
4. Self-motivated individual with an eye for detail and a focus on customer service.
5. Excellent data analysis skills and Microsoft Excel ability.
Qualifications desirable for this role are:
1. Vocational Achievements NVQ/C&G advantageous.
