Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8AM-4:30PM

Do you have your C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification and are looking for a static position based outside of the City of London? We have a role working for a leading FM company on a contract for a well-known food & drink manufacturing company based out of a static site in Edmonton, N9.

Job Responsibilities for an Electrical Tester:
1. Ensure that all works under control are effectively carried out to ensure that any third-party contractors who carry out work on the site do so in a safe and professional manner and abide by the relevant Company procedures and site-specific procedures where applicable.
2. Carry out scheduled Electrical testing and Inspection maintenance tasks including but not limited to Emergency Lighting, ECIR, Illumination Levels, Infra-Red, Motors, PAT, Static Discharge, Lightening Protection. Carry out repairs and operations of equipment and services in accordance with best practice.
3. Ensure that the Site Manager/T&I Supervisor is kept informed of all aspects of safety performance, plant performance, and customer circumstances that may impact upon the safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective operation of the plant.
4. Assist the Site Manager in the preparation of site budgets and monthly reports by providing the requested information in a timely manner.
5. Assist the Site Manager/T&I Supervisor to operate on a daily basis with self-autonomy dealing with everything from SHEQ, personnel management, subcontractor management, contract management, budget control, engineering planning and execution, planned preventative maintenance, etc.

Qualifications Required for an Electrical Tester:
1. ONC/C&G or equivalent in an electrical engineering discipline (Essential)
2. C&G 2391, or equivalent Testing & Inspection (Essential)
3. 18th Edition Electrical Qualification (Essential)
4. JIB Gold Card (Essential)
