Job Description
Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor you will be responsible for the control of Stores being Goods in and out and support with non-technical planned maintenance of the facilities. The role will be 50/50, so experience in either stores or facilities maintenance will be advantageous. Training will be provided where required.
Stores
* Record all materials received and despatched from site
* Check and verify deliveries of materials in and out of the stores
* Receipt and despatch of tools for calibration
* Inform recipients of deliveries and move goods around site to various storage locations
* Maintain the stores in a clean condition
* Dispatch items using shipping agents
* Completion of any required export documentation
* Pack materials for despatch
* Receipt of fuel deliveries
* Stock control of rented gas bottles
* Interface with internal and external customers/suppliers in relation to shipping of items
* Deliver and collection of company materials in site vehicle
* Stores Ad Hoc duties as required
Facilities Maintenance
* Inspection of mobile and fixed Ladders
* Management of waste skips for all site waste
* Inspections of First Aid equipment
* Daily checks of Fork lift trucks including charging
* Reading of energy meters such as electrical and fuel to monitor consumption
* Run off of cold water taps for Legionella checks
* Off site collection of materials for maintenance activities
* Where required assist Site Services team with other maintenance tasks
Qualifications

Qualifications
* A current full UK driving licence
* A current fork/reach truck licence would be an advantage
Experience
* Experience in Material handling including operation of fork trucks
* Experience as a Stores person – stock control
* Experience of arranging shipping of materials include customs for uk imports and exports
* Experience of facilities maintenance tasks
* Use to working in a busy environment and multitasking
* Awareness of health and safety procedures and practices
Skills
* Able to follow written and verbal instructions
* Basic level of computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications
* Numeracy, Literacy and organisational skills
* Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
