We have an exciting opportunity for 2x undergraduate pharmacy students to work for at our busy hospitals for 8-weeks over the summer.
One placement will be based at Tunbridge Wells Hospital and the other placement will be based at Maidstone Hospital. Site allocation will be decided during the interview process.
Priority will be given to 3rd year students, but we welcome applications from lower years.
Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells is a two site Trust providing acute services for patients in West Kent and East Sussex
The successful applicants will help support our various pharmacy teams and gain invaluable experience of working in a hospital pharmacy environment.
Main duties will include dispensing a variety of prescriptions, supporting our pharmacy stores teams with a variety of tasks and supporting the clinical pharmacy assistants with the organisation and return of patients' medicines.
There will also be the opportunity to complete a small audit.
Some shadowing of the clinical team to be organised if time allows.
