The team Shepherd and Wedderburn are currently recruiting for a Senior Executive / Manager to join their Marketing and Business Development team. This role will support Shepherd and Wedderburn’s number one ranked Clean Energy Sector. Shepherd and Wedderburn, one of the UK’s leading law firms, is seeking a skilled and proactive Senior Marketing and BD Executive/Manager, with a minimum of five years’ experience, to join their vibrant team. If you have experience of working in the Clean Energy or Professional Services sectors in a similar role, it would be advantageous. The position can be based in our Glasgow or Edinburgh offices, with a requirement to travel between our offices to meet with colleagues/clients and to fulfil other duties. Career Advancement: enjoy clear opportunities for career development and progression in a top tier law firm that works UK-wide and internationally Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute comprehensive business development and marketing initiatives across various channels including supporting upon development and execution of the firm’s Clean Energy sector plan. Lead on responses to formal RFPs and other work winning proposals (prior experience required). Work with partners and lawyers in the sector group to enhance the firm’s market reputation including strategic promotion of our work and offering. Collate information for preparation of client newsletters and other client specific materials. Develop and manage engaging content for newsletters, social media, email marketing, and our website. Coordinate and support the planning and delivery of high-impact events (client facing and internal). Conduct market research to identify trends and growth opportunities. Assist with maintaining our CRM system providing insightful analysis on campaign performance. What We're Looking For: Enthusiasm and passion for making a difference At least five years of experience in marketing or business development roles (and related disciplines). Strong written and verbal communication skills – being able to create and present engaging content is a positive. Proven creative thinking and attention to detail. Ability to work independently on own initiative when required, but also collaboratively within a team. Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms including LinkedIn, newsletter content management, CRM systems.
