If you have a heart for helping others and the skills to support families in need, we want to hear from you Position Details: Role: Family Support Worker Contract Type: Temporary Hourly Rate: £18.26 Working Pattern: Full Time Driving Required: Yes Location: Wolverhampton About the Role: As a Family Support Worker, you will be instrumental in providing support to children, young people, adoptive families, and birth families. Your role will involve working directly with families both individually and in groups, fostering strong and stable family relationships and promoting the potential of each child. Key Responsibilities: Plan, supervise, and facilitate direct work with children and adoptive families. Undertake assessments of needs for children and adoptive parents, developing adoption support plans. Prepare children for adoption and transition in an age-sensitive manner. Conduct life story work and compile Life Story Books. Plan and assess post-adoption contact between adopted children and their birth families. Collaborate with other agencies to ensure a comprehensive support network for families. Maintain accurate records and provide written reports on interventions and progress.Who We're Looking For: Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in health and social care. Experience: Proven experience working with families and young people in a professional setting. Knowledge: Familiarity with UK adoption processes is essential.
