Job Purpose
Support the Council in the provision of a comprehensive property and estate management service in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council`s key objectives in relation to those identified within the Asset Management Framework and the Community Plan. You will work as a qualified Surveyor managing a diverse range of property portfolios. This vacancy is a great opportunity to work in an Estates team that will contribute to a more effective property estate that supports East Ayrshire Council’s key services and objectives. The Council has an extensive capital programme with exciting projects including the Ayrshire Growth Deal and Town Centre Regeneration. This post will be a mixture of home, office and site based taking into account employee preferences.

This is a permanent full time post. The admin base for the post is the Opera House, John Finnie Street Kilmarnock Hours of work are 35 per week Within this post there are 2 Grade Levels. Dependent upon qualifications and experience it will be determined which Grade the successful candidate would be placed.Grade 10 - £40,495 - £44,117Grade 12 - £47,848 - £52,325 The workstyle for this post is ‘Mobile’ - 20-49% of your time in an office or other work location. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 1 to 2.5 days per week and the remainder of the week at home or other work locations as required.
