Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity for a fixed-term Safeguarding Adult Review Co-ordinator to join our team here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
The Teeswide Safeguarding Adults Board (TSAB) works in partnership to safeguard and promote the well-being and independence of adults living in the Boroughs of Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees; who are experiencing, or are at risk of abuse or neglect. The TSAB Business Unit works on behalf of partners to direct and co-ordinate the work of the Board, and to support the work of the various Sub-Groups for Safeguarding Adults.
Stockton-On-Tees Borough Council hosts the Business Unit on behalf of the TSAB and are now delighted to be recruiting to the position of Safeguarding Adult Review Co-ordinator on a fixed term contract for 12 months to cover a period of maternity leave.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, well-established team which provides business support and project work for the Board.
The important role of Safeguarding Adult Review Co-ordinator is to support the work of the Safeguarding Adult Review (SAR) Sub-Group including:
* Co-ordinating and managing all aspects of the review process
* Providing admin support to the Sub-Group
* Maintaining and updating the SAR policy, procedures and documentation.
In this role, you will also work with the Board’s partners and Sub-Groups to ensure learning from reviews is shared appropriately.
You will hold a relevant degree or professional qualification relating to safeguarding adults’ work or be able to demonstrate significant experience relevant to the role.
