Our client specializes in the design, support, and manufacturing of rotating electrical machines and associated equipment. They're looking for a Mechanical - Electrical Fitter with a strong background within a similar environment. They're an expanding company with plenty of work coming their way.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Assemble rotating equipment (rotors, stators, bearings, etc.), install instrumentation, and prepare for testing
* Multi-skilled Electrical and Mechanical
* Conduct strip-downs and repairs of equipment
* Operate overhead lifting equipment, hand/power tools, and testing devices
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and ISO 9001 standards
* Occasional travel to customer sites - - Rental cars or will pay mileage
* Working in a team of 7-8 - Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager
