A client of ours in the Ipswich area are recruiting a Business Support Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and paying £27,000 - £29,000 per annum depending on experience. This role offers hybrid working after a successful probation, working 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
Reporting to the Operations Director, key duties include but are not limited to:
Coordinate diaries, meetings, and room bookings.
Organise meeting setups, refreshments, and IT equipment.
Handle travel arrangements (flights, hotels, parking).
Arrange restaurant bookings and Head Office visits.
Support the Assistant to the MD with meeting schedules and documentation.
Manage a list of preferred suppliers for hotels, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Draft correspondence and provide admin support.
Manage department spreadsheets and credit card records.
Track workload, staff anniversaries, and order office supplies.
Organise gifts/anniversaries in coordination with HR.
Work within budget and handle ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Assist the Events Team and the Assistant to the MD.
Support process documentation, training, and updates for the team.
Collaborate on significant process changes with the team.
