Vacancies: 60 Location: Pollock Halls of Residence The Opportunity: This summer, Pollock Halls of Residence will welcome visitors from around the globe. We are seeking individuals to join our busy housekeeping team. You will be crucial in providing a flexible, customer-focused service across our accommodation, playing a key role in maintaining excellent standards of cleaning and customer care for all our visitors and guests. As a Summer Domestic Assistant/Cleaner, you will be responsible for servicing & ensuring our bedrooms and communal areas are cleaned, set up and serviced to hotel standards. You will also assist in the distribution & counting of linen, as well as setting up and maintaining supplies required to service rooms. While previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred, it is not essential. We welcome candidates who are eager to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. You should be capable of delivering exceptional housekeeping and customer service to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and ensure our guests have a comfortable stay. Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse range of colleagues and customers. Please note that this role requires weekend work on a rota basis for the duration of your contract. You must be able to commit to the entire fixed term period of employment.
