An exciting opportunity for a home-based sales professional to partner with our Business Development Manager. This position focuses on collaboration with a Business Development Manager to drive customer acquisition and growth through directly signing new business where appropriate through outbound B2B calls and face-to-face meetings where required, seeing the customer acquisition through from lead generation to product installation. The role will also entail supporting a Business Development Manager with high-value customer appointment setting and diary management in the assigned region. A key requirement of the role is that all activity performed aligns to Clear Business Group’s values and behaviours, with a customer-centric focus always maintained.

Responsibilities
1. Prospecting and Lead Generation
1. Research and identify potential customers and key decision-makers.
2. Generate and qualify leads through calling your assigned data lead source.
2. Customer Outreach and Engagement
1. Initiate outbound calls and emails to introduce the company's products/services to prospects.
2. Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients by nurturing relationships through regular follow-ups.
3. Comprehensive Sales Process and Account Management
1. Acquire new customers by managing the entire sales process, from initial contact through to product installation.
2. Oversee customer accounts to always maintain high levels of customer service.
3. Proactively contact customers for renewals appointments, completing the renewal during your contact call or booking in face-to-face meetings.
4. BDM Regional Partnership
1. Work closely with your assigned Business Development Manager.
2. Generate high-value new business appointments, manage renewals and customer activation meetings.
3. Attend customer meetings along with your BDM to better understand the sales process and customer journey.
5. Upselling and Cross-Selling
1. Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products or services to existing clients.
2. Propose additional solutions that align with client goals and increase value.
6. System Maintenance (CRM)
1. Record all customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-ups in the CRM.
2. Keep track of customer needs, preferences, and purchasing patterns.
7. Product Knowledge and Market Awareness
1. Maintain thorough knowledge of the company’s products/services.
2. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions.
8. What success in the role looks like
1. Achieve all commercial targets in a consistent manner (month-by-month).
2. Achieve all objectives agreed with the Sales Manager.
3. Operate within Clear Business quality guidelines and compliance rules.
4. Receive above par scores from customer satisfaction surveys and internal feedback.
Minimum Requirements
1. A minimum of 2 years demonstrable success in a high-volume desk-based B2B sales role.
2. Show experience in working in an assigned regional area.
3. Demonstrable evidence of a stable employment record.
4. Experience in negotiating multiple product, price, and contract terms with customers.
5. An in-depth understanding of B2B sales processes.
6. An in-depth understanding of regulatory requirements impacting B2B sales organisations.
7. Experience in the effective use of sales CRM and/or Lead Management systems.

1. Good written and verbal communications skills, with an ability to adapt communication styles to individual customers.
2. High level of attention to detail and organisation, with a sense of ownership, pride, and responsibility for the accuracy of own work.

Qualifications and Other Requirements
1. Industry Experience: Information Technology, Utilities, and/or Service provision preferred, but not essential.
2. Ability to travel to face-to-face appointments with your Business Development Manager and with customers within your assigned area.
3. I.T. literate, knowledge of the effective use of Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), essential.
