Job Title – Photographer Location – M40 5BJ Working rota – Monday - Friday Working hours – 40 hours include evenings and weekends Role overview: A Midweight Photographer is a highly motivated individual who continuously achieves daily shoot targets and works to tight deadlines in a fast paced studio environment. Their role is to create engaging and aspirational assets across E-commerce and the groups social channels. They support the growth of the business and assist the development of junior team members. This role requires a proactive approach in quiet periods, supporting peers and driving efficiency through communication and positivity. Responsibilities: Take ownership of the development and delivery of e-commerce assets in a fast paced studio environment. Consistent high output of quality assets. Produce E-commerce photography in compliance with the agreed style guide. Follow agreed procedures. Update style guides seasonally, ensuring internal Wiki guides are completed and referenced. Achieve daily shoot targets and work to deadlines, balancing E-commerce and social requirements whilst maintaining quality and consistency. Prepare sets and check daily that all kit is functioning, light tests are complete and approved by retouch, and flag any of these issues with your line manager. Ensure the set is running effectively, work alongside the stylist to art direct and select the strongest images. Work with the Head of Content Administration to ensure accurate communication of asset delivery for studio reports. Build relationships across all studio functions. Collate work including examples of recent work and any trend / inspiration research for feedback sessions with line managers as part of your PDP. Attend and contribute to site reviews and photography meetings. Work to personal and studio KPI’s. Maintain general tidiness of studio and equipment, ensuring immediate close down of any set build on the cove or other areas not in your function. Further increase knowledge and understanding of studio lighting. Developing ideas and exploring new photography techniques. Support on multiple fascias across the studio if required. Have patience and remain calm in challenging situations demonstrating resilience. Meeting productivity targets to ensure imagery is live within 48 hours. Meet productivity targets and ensure CPP is correct. Limit amends by following guides and engaging in training and development. Ensure product numbers and hours are passed over to your line manager, cross referencing your daily shoot amount with the retouch team. Correctly fill out all studio trackers. Assisting with the development of new and junior team members. Embrace change and demonstrate a high level of corporate understanding. Translate social briefs and conceptualise ideas. Represent the studio in stakeholder meetings and present ideas. An enthusiastic and organised individual who will work as part of a team to deliver high quality e-commerce assets at volume. Take initiative to test & innovate the group's photography outputs. Proactively go about your daily workload and use initiative to support throughout the studio. Tackling any site discrepancies through feedback and planning. Meet deadlines and execute any last-minute briefs. Follow and maintain all Health & Safety Guidelines. Skills/ Experience/ Knowledge needed: We’re looking for a highly motivated individual, who will support peers and drive efficiency through communication and positivity. 5 years photographing/ industry experience working across studio and location environments. Must have a full UK Driving License & be comfortable driving studio pool cars and vans across the UK and internationally. Highly organized and proactive in decision making and problem solving. Past experience working on Major Brand Campaigns. Excellent knowledge of Canon Camera Systems. Excellent knowledge of Capture One. Passionate interest in the Sports Fashion Industry. Good written and verbal skills. Obsessive eye for detail. Ability to work under pressure. Contribute and work effectively within a team environment. Good time management and timekeeping. Strong understanding of brand guidelines. Strong communication skills. Be Mac and PC literate.
