We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our secondary school in Leeds. As a key member of our teaching staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality Maths lessons, helping students achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Maths (or a related subject).
2. Experience teaching Maths in a secondary setting (KS3 and KS4 experience is essential, KS5 is desirable).
3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Maths.
4. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
5. An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Responsibilities:
6. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to meet the needs of students at various ability levels.
7. Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
8. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student curiosity and confidence in Maths.
9. Collaborate with other teaching staff to develop resources and strategies to enhance teaching and learning in the department.
10. Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and extracurricular activities as required.
