Job summary Surrey Downs Health & Care We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual with relevant knowledge, skills and experience in management of pressure ulcers, complex wounds and leg ulcers. As a tissue viability specialist nurse you will provide specialist assessment, care planning for a range of complex wounds and provide advice on ongoing management, supporting the delivery of evidence based wound management. A key element of the role is the provision of education, training and support to members of the PCNs, therefore teaching experience is desirable. The individual should have excellent communication and organisational skills, alongside the ability to challenge and embed best practice across the Trust. Main duties of the job Be responsible for providing a high quality holistic service for patients who require specialist tissue viability knowledge and skills Work in an advanced clinical role, leading and developing nursing practice within the specialty.
