The postholder will work as part of a Locality Team and work closely with other officers of the Council in the development of policies and procedures and with external organisations including the Education Authority, Department of Education and the accredited trade unions, on a range of educational, management and employment related matters. Essential Criteria Applicants should have at least 3 years experience giving advice and guidance on at least two of the following major functions people management / HR policies and procedures recruitment and selection of staff governance and finance Desirable Criteria Preference may be given to candidates who hold a degree or equivalent relevant professional qualification and / or are currently working towards a relevant postgraduate professional qualification eg CIPD.
