About the role:
We are looking to recruit a talented, committed, dynamic individual to join our University Sport team to undertake the role of a Performance Sport Coordinator. Working under the direction of the Performance Sport Manager, the successful candidate will help co-ordinate the University’s sports scholarship programme, the Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme, and other aspects of our performance sport work, including internal and external communications, project coordination and logistics.
About you:
The successful candidate will have experience in working in a sports environment and will have GCSE English and Maths. You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience of communicating with people in a variety of media, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The role is based at the Preston campus; it is the full time equivalent of three days per week but this may be undertaken on a flexible basis during the working week.
