Role Overview
To provide a full and comprehensive administrative role within our established Trade Account Team. Answering both email and telephone enquiries from Trade Partners. Processing orders and offering support and advice to our customers. Provide an open line of communication to ensure our customers are updated throughout their journey with us. Open and process postal orders. Allocation of jewellery to enable us to fulfil orders. Work closely with the Trade Account Manager to maintain stock levels. Support Trade Partners during our onboarding process.
Objectives of this role
1. Offer a full and thorough administrative service
2. Ensure customer orders are processed and fulfilled to meet Company SLAs
3. The first point of contact in all matters related to customer orders, concerns, and needs
4. Build and strengthen customer relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
5. Maintain accurate customer records, keeping track of orders and maintaining open communication regarding order updates and onboarding
6. Work with our internal teams to harvest strong working relationships and ensure KPIs are being met
7. Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better inform and support our customers
Responsibilities
1. Support the Business Development Manager and Trade Account Manager
2. Handle enquiries and requests from customers and address their needs
3. Process orders, ensuring we deliver the expected level of customer service
4. Allocate jewellery required to fulfil orders
5. Support customers with our onboarding process
6. Maintain strong open communication with all customers
7. Meet regularly with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business
8. Generate order reports for clients and senior leaders within the organisation
9. Identify opportunities and communicate with the Trade Team regularly
10. Liaise with colleagues throughout the business
11. Any other duties deemed relevant and necessary by line manager
Required skills and qualifications
1. Professional experience in a sales administration role
2. Ability to multitask and manage several responsibilities simultaneously
3. Proficient with Microsoft Suite
4. Strong written and verbal communication skills
5. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
6. Confident working in a fast-paced environment
7. Good academic qualifications, including Maths and English
8. Well presented for a professional environment and meeting customers face to face
9. Used to working on own initiative, as well as part of a team
Preferred skills and qualifications
1. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding customer expectations and receiving positive customer feedback
2. Previous administrative experience within a sales environment
