The Procurement Officer/Contracts Administrator will support sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and supplier management to achieve best value from third-party spend on goods and services, focusing on Contract Renewals for Professional Services. The role involves scoping business requirements, executing sourcing events, and managing contract negotiations.
Key responsibilities of the Procurement Officer/Contracts Administrator include:
• Lead sourcing events (RFI, RFP) to ensure best value-for-money on spend.
• Manage supplier onboarding, risk assessment, and compliance.
• Negotiate contracts, ensuring service, quality, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal departments to meet procurement needs.
• Track and report on procurement initiatives, supplier performance, and contract renewals.
The successful Procurement Officer/Contracts Administrator will have:
• Experience in Procurement and Supplier Management, with RFx process delivery.
• Good standard of education (GCSE Maths and English).
• CIPS qualification (or working towards) desirable.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, and supply chain operations.
