Our client is a well established company in the beauty products industry. They are currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join them on a full time, permanent basis. You will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day financial activities of the business. This includes bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll processing, credit control, and providing assistance with various operational requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records. Prepare and submit VAT returns. Process payroll, ensuring accuracy and adherence to relevant legislation. Assist with credit control, including monitoring outstanding payments and following up as necessary. Assist in preparing financial reports and providing financial insights to support business decisions. Support any operational requirements related to financial administration and company compliance. Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and relevant stakeholders as needed. Ensure financial processes align with the organisation’s goals and regulatory standards. Requirements: Proven experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and VAT management. Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero). Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
