Our client is a design and build partner, delivering new build and refurbishment projects across the UK, with a turnover exceeding £400m. An opportunity has arisen for a Bid Writer/Coordinator to join the team at their head office in Hertfordshire. The position will report directly to the Pre-Construction Director. Responsibilities: Recognise client needs within both the private and social housing markets, and apply this insight when preparing bids and tender submissions to achieve successful outcomes. Respond effectively to OJEU notices, invitations to tender, and development bids by producing high-quality PQQs, ITT submissions, and bid documents tailored to meet the specific requirements of the client’s enquiry. Develop creative and innovative solutions, offering commercial value. Prepare concise, attractive documents that deliver the message and enhance the chances of winning the bid. Prepare and deliver presentations to key clients, building strong relationships and establishing credibility as a professional team member with the technical expertise to support the bid. Collaborate with the Business Development department, Construction Managers, Design Coordinators, Estimators, and Buyers to develop successful bid and tender documents. Ensure that all publication processes and systems, including the computerisation of functions, are compatible with bid and tender submission documents, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Audit and review submission documents, and maintain a library of current technical and commercial information in collaboration with other team members.
