Job Purpose:
Big Motoring World Group is an expanding car supermarket group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ an Appraiser at our Preparation Centre Site in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast and progressive moving group as well as working alongside experienced technicians to help and support. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals with a self-motivating attitude, an eye for detail, and the ability to work as part of a team within a busy, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
* To complete a thorough and accurate appraisal of all vehicles on arrival to the Prep Centre.
* Bodywork inspections.
* Order parts and add them to our internal systems.
* Record damage on internal system in line with the company set of standards.
* Housekeeping – maintaining a safe and clean work area.
* To conduct any other reasonable duties as requested.
Essential Skills:
* A current full Driving licence.
* Experience in a similar role with automotive experience.
* Knowledge of body shop repair methods.
